“Dear Lisa, We have benefited from your beautiful floral arrangements on many occasions. However, we are especially grateful to you for one that you prepared - under duress! - At our request on Monday January 15^th. It was for a visitation and funeral service for David M. at Bolton and Lunsford. We were in a bind (due to a number of circumstances), and we called that morning and asked Krista if somehow y’all could get an arrangement prepared and delivered that same morning! And You did! We are embarrassed about the circumstances that caused us to make such an unreasonable request. And we are so grateful for your fulfilling our need. The arrangement was lovely, and it was placed prominently near the casket by the time we arrived at the funeral home from our house in Lebanon. Your efforts are especially meaningful to us because Bill is an active Lay Pastor at Westwood United Methodist Church. Mr. M. was one of Bill’s Lay Pastor “flock” and a good friend as well. While we also made appropriate charitable contributions, flowers are such a nice expression of caring at a time when family and friends are grieving the most.
